PROVIDENTIAL PAYBACK
MESSAGE: “A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his words, And the deeds of a man’s hands will return to him.” (Proverbs 12:14)
MEANING: The word “providence” describes God’s care over creation. As the Maker and Ruler of all, God is sovereign and able to bring His will to perfect completion. Sometimes this happens quickly, and in accordance with the natural laws He has established. At other times, God operates slowly or outside of these laws. No matter what, God continually provides His care. Let us engage in good deeds, so that we will receive a joyful return. And if we sin, let us fully repent so that our punishment may be cast upon the cross, rather than return to us.
MOVEMENT: We all get sick from time to time. Today provide care or encouragement to someone you know who is ill. Not only is this a loving deed, but you never know how it may return to you.
