The Bible is God's textbook for young and old alike.
Are you concerned about raising up Godly young adults who know what they need to do to please God? Is your family getting teachings straight from the Bible? Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it."
Our classes are designed to give children and adults solid, Bible-based teaching. (If they don't get Bible teaching here and in the home, where would they get it?)
Adults (and adult visitors) may attend Bible classes at our regularly scheduled Bible studies. Our Sunday morning class is currently studing Ephesians and using God's Eternal Purpose by Ferrell Jenkins as a study guide. On Wednesday evenings, we are studying first principles at a richer, deeper level using Let Us Go On written by Paul R. Blake. Recent adult classes have been on Parables of Jesus, Ephesians, and Romans. We are planning to study Biblical Leadership for the Local Church written by Paul R. Blake on Sunday mornings when we have completed Ephesians. On Wednesday, we will begin studying Revelation using the study guide The Triumph of the Suffering Church by Paul R. Blake.
Our Bible Classes are Sunday morning at 9:30 am and on Wednesday at 7:30pm. We invite you to visit any time and see for yourself.
Please note that we have a number of other opportunities to learn and grow in the faith. We have an Indepth Adult Bible study every other Thursday at 7:30 PM examining challenging, contemporary issues. Every other Tuesday at 7:30 PM, we have a leadership class for men using Max Dawson's book Kingdom Leaders as a study guide. In the fall, winter, and spring months of the year on Tuesday mornings at 9:30, we have a Ladies' Bible study. On the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM, we gather at the Heritage Park Nursing Home to sing, read, and pray with the residents. You will be warmly welcomed to come and share with us in these studies of the blessed word of God.
There's no time like today for learning more about God's word. 1 Peter 2:2 says "As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby."
